Why I switched stores!!

I Switched Stores!
I have finally found a Health and Wellness store that has better, safer products for my family- products that actually work! I am so excited about this store!
A fellow mommy-friend told me about all of the benefits that these products had for her family. She mentioned one product, in particular, that cleared her son’s eczema. That was the deal maker for me. I knew I needed to give it a try. After about two weeks I noticed a big difference in my kids’ skin. I was so amazed at the almost immediate change that I started to tell my family and friends whom I knew had skin problems as well. I was so impressed by the drastic change, using the store’s lotion, that it wasn’t long before I started using the kids body wash with them too. I could never go back to the products at other stores.
It wasn’t just the lotion and body wash that amazed me, though. After I started shopping at this Health and Wellness store, I found out that the Chap Stick I was using could be used for many things other than just healing and smoothing my lips.  My family and I live on a farm so we are constantly outside, which means we are always getting tick and bug bites. Someone had told me that the Chap Stick works for soothing skin and clearing irritation, so of course I tried it. When either my son or daughter gets bug bites or ticks I apply the Chap Stick and it clears up the irritation like nothing I’ve seen before. I’m so grateful that I won’t ever have to worry about my kids having painful bumps on them anymore! I even showed my husband how great it worked for our two children and he decided to give it a try. He had been using it ever since and is ready for me to get more!
This store also has oils that works wonders on their skin. It clears up bites and skin irritation so fast, like the Chap Stick, but does so much more than that!  I’ve found many ways to use the oil… one in particular that I am thankful for. This is a hard and embarrassing story for me to tell but I will tell it anyway: My family and I had a graduation to go to so I was curling my daughter’s hair. It’s just getting long enough to curl and looks so adorable. I curl her hair all the time with no complications. This time I got her entire head curled and then I noticed a spot that needed to be curled again. It was right by her forehead, and when I was curling it, my daughter got antsy and started moving around. I think you know where this is going. The curling iron bumped her precious little forehead. I was so upset, as was she. Anyway, I ran to get my oil, put some on the burn and she stopped crying immediately! As luck would have it, I burned myself that very same day when I was doing my hair! I put the oil on my skin and the pain vanished. It was amazing! Not only did my daughter stop crying because the oils got rid of the pain, but I have been putting iton her burn each day and the mark is disappearing so quickly.
My product experiences could go on and on but I’ll share just one more. As I had mentioned before, my family and I live on a farm in a very small town.  In this small town there is lots of sulfur in the water, which ruins so many things. My tubs are awful. I have tried numerous products on them. I did find one that worked in the past. However, I was always afraid to put my kids in the tub for the first few days after I washed it because there were so many chemicals in the cleaner! It would make my hands hurt so I didn’t want to see what it would do to my kids. When I found this Health and Wellness store, I tried some Sol-u-guard Botanical and it cleaned the tub magnificently and I have no problems with it affecting my skin or my children’s skin. It doesn’t have any of the harsh chemicals that other products do. Nothing that this store sells does. I have also used this same spray to kill ants in my home! It has been a wonderful product, in addition to the many other safe, chemical-free products that my family now uses.
I wanted to share what switching stores has done for my family and myself.
You too can make the switch and have a happier healthier family!

Supper With The Family!!!

Hello everyone!

I have started something new to help my family enjoy meal time together!! Every afternoon I have my son draw a main dish from the "what's for supper" jar. Then he gets to help me prepare it and set the table.

Last night was so amazing. It worked out so nice! My son picked chicken wrapped in bacon, filled with cream cheese and ranch. It's so yummy! I call that our fancy meal, so then we added a theme to our meals. Since it was kind of fancy food we got out the fancy cups and Mom pretended to be the waitress when Dad got home. We had candle light and everything. It was so much fun. My son and I also made chocolate covered marshmallows with sprinkles which he was so excited to get out and show his dad! We ended supper by drawing from the "clean up after meal time" jar. My 4 year old son got dishes, which was funny because he hasn't ever done them. With Mom's help he done the dishes and he did a pretty darn good job! So we all got everything cleaned up as a family.

My 16 month old daughter even helped. She wiped down the chairs for us! So when you think your kids are too young for something just try it anyways and see how it works.

I never even thought of having my son help with the dishes and he did and amazing job. I wasn't going to ask my daughter to help but I saw her helping her brother clean the table the day before so I thought I would give it a try!

I'm so very excited about this new thing because, before, we had so much trouble eating with our kids. My son always wants a snack right before and won't sit and eat with us. However since he was involved in supper so much he wasn't bored and wanting something every 5 seconds. We usually don't clean up after supper which I hate because I'm left to clean it up in the morning. So I will for sure keep trying this and hope that it stays this way!! I will update you guys on our themes and how its goes! It's going to be so much fun!!! If anyone has other ideas please feel free to share!

Mothers Day!!

My Mothers Day was amazing! I woke up to my son saying he was going to go get dressed for Church which isn't normal for him. My husband made me breakfast and had a gift sitting on the couch for me which I wasn't expecting at all. We went to church heard a wonderful message like we always do! After church they handed out flowers to the moms. Ones that you can take home and plant so that was nice! Then we were off to the in-laws to have lunch with the family it was an amazing day! I hope all the moms had a good Mothers Day!!

Sad week:(

So the week has started out kind of bad. On Sunday I was mowing my yard with my in-laws mower and it broke:( I feel so horrible about that. But of course she wasn't mad at all she is so amazing! And my husband said he could probably fix it with out having to buy anything! Okay so then Monday one of my dogs got hit by a car. He didn't make it. I was really upset mostly because the people didn't even stop to tell us they just went faster. And my 3 year old didn't really understand it very well:( But he seems to be taking it okay! I know this week is going to get much better! I get to go to Springfield to visit friends tomorrow so i'm excited for that!! I will keep posting to tell you how the rest of my week goes!
